1. Introduction ClayLine ("ClayLine", "we", "us") operates the ClayLine mobile app and clayline.app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use the Service.

2. Data We Collect 2.1 Account data: email address, Apple sign-in identifiers, and profile information you provide (display name, nickname, avatar, bio).
2.2 Content and usage data: sketches, photos, prompts, Generated Content, feed posts, challenge submissions, remix activity, and related metadata.
2.3 Transaction data: subscription status, Marker balance and usage history, and promotional redemptions. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.
2.4 Device and technical data: device type, operating system, app version, push notification tokens, and diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Service.
2.5 Analytics data: aggregated or pseudonymous usage events to understand product performance and improve features.
2.6 Please avoid uploading sensitive personal information, confidential materials, or content you do not have rights to share. You are responsible for what you submit to the Service.
3. Public Content and Visibility Content you publish to public areas of the Service (such as feeds, profiles, challenges, or remix features) may be visible to other users and accessible within the app according to product settings. Think carefully before publishing personal or identifying information.
4. How We Use Data We use personal data to: - provide accounts, authentication, and AI generation; - operate community features (feed, challenges, profiles, remix); - process subscriptions, Markers, and support requests; - send service-related notifications where permitted; - secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms; - analyze and improve the Service; - comply with legal obligations.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies Our website (clayline.app) may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for functionality, security, and analytics (for example, to measure traffic and improve performance). You can control cookies through your browser settings where applicable. The mobile app may use comparable device identifiers and local storage for authentication and core features.
6. Legal Bases (EEA/UK) Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service); legitimate interests (security, improvement, analytics); consent where required (for example, certain notifications); and legal obligation.
7. AI Processing Your inputs (including sketches, photos, and prompts) may be transmitted to third-party AI inference providers to generate outputs. We use providers subject to contractual and technical measures intended to protect personal data and limit processing to providing the Service.
8. Sharing We share data with service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, authentication, AI inference, analytics, and support), only as needed and under appropriate safeguards. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
We do not sell your personal data.
9. International Transfers Data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the European Union and the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Retention We retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, and comply with law. You may request deletion as described below.
